The role

Kettle is looking for Account team members who thrive on collaboration. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with an impressive array of clients as well as a group of talented designers, developers, copywriters and strategists on a variety of projects for leading brands across sport, beauty, tech, travel, and more.

We're looking for a self-starter who is driven, communicative, enthusiastic and is an assertive problem solver. You will partner closely with the client to bring strategic ideas and thinking to the table based on their needs (help them identify opportunities, evolve ideas, etc). You will also manage cross-functional teams through a project's lifecycle (from client brief through delivery of final product). You are comfortable owning: internal and client communication, briefs, scope, timeline, budget and quality assurance. As someone who gets the big picture, you are proactive and always ahead of the game, while having a passion for the smallest details. You have a solid knowledge of the brand, campaign and digital product development processes and an understanding and experience with effective client management.

The right candidate should have:

  • Agency experience 
  • US citizenship or work permit
  • Experience in strategy, campaigns, content production, and product work
  • Ideally you’re based in NYC, SF, or LA (open to other key markets if the fit is right)
  • Great communication skills.
  • Insatiable curiosity from product to process to people
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience managing and mentoring
  • Ability to work in a flexible environment and be responsive to real time changes if/when necessary.
  • Knows how to have fun on the job - we’re lucky to get to do this stuff! 
  • The right attitude. This job isn’t a cookie cutter 9-5, a layer of adaptability and flexibility required to ensure that we go the extra mile for our clients and our teams

We'd like to know that you can:

  • Form great relationships and experience growing accounts and managing clients
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of all things digital including:  social, content creation and web/mobile design and development processes
  • Excel at creating stand out decks and other materials for the client.
  • Present and captivate an audience.
  • Manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Develop and manage project health through timelines, scopes, and contracts 
  • Effectively coordinate and collaborate with clients, partner agencies, and internal teams
