Your task.

We’re looking to hire a Director of People Operations to work alongside the business leaders to develop strong multi-year talent plans that ensure a consistent, high performing workplace. Our goal is to develop, enable and retain great people. In this role, we’ll ask you to leverage your experience across strategic and tactical people operations functions to lead things like performance management, compensation analysis, employee relations, and benefits administration. We’re looking for a culture champion, a true generalist and player-coach who has had proven success in a growing company.

Responsibilities:

  • Championing our culture - understanding what makes us great, and helping us embed our values into everything we do, across departments and locations.
  • Oversee HR and Operations including benefits administration, payroll, financial projections, etc. 
  • Advise leaders on a variety of topics, including organization design, benefits selection,
  • Delivering high-impact training programs.
  • Ensure we continue to have the right mix of benefits and perks in place as we scale up.
  • Provide data & insights to facilitate holistic business decisions – i.e. turnover stats, employee survey results, compensation analysis, etc. – to guide business leaders decisions & actions resulting in high levels of engagement & productivity
  • Improve alignment of performance management, compensation, organizational development, employee retention initiatives, and manage outside vendors from legal and financial disciplines.

Qualifications:

  • You’re an approachable, active listener who inspires trust and confidence from leaders and individual contributors.
  • Coaching expertise - you know when to lead directly, and when to develop and enable managers to lead effectively.
  • Proven ability - ideally, you’ve helped a company grow from 50-100 people and know how to scale programs and practices appropriately.
  • Strong project management skills, including attention to detail, ability to create structured frameworks and action plans
  • Progressive experience in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Organizational Management or other related discipline; Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience, including people management, preferably in a venture-backed, high-growth technology companies
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in developing and implementing progressive, industry leading HR processes
  • Experienced in all prominent areas of the Employee life-cycle
  • Versatility in working with analytical reports, financial data, and providing solid business recommendations
